Your First job?

So we know where we all are now in our career choices, but where did we begin? Where did we see ourselves being at this point in our life.

My very first job was when i was 16, I worked as a barback/porter at a local Bar/grill/poolhall called Raxx. I basically got paid $8.50 to restock the beerfridges @ the bar, change kegs & put the Glasses through the washer. It was a pretty easy & wicked job for the age I was 'cause I got hit on constantly by drunk girls haha. After 4 months I was given the Shift supervisor title for the Porter "Team" so then for the next year & a bit that I worked there I just told people what to do and organized everyone, also got a payraise for it! But yeh thats my first job!

My career plans when i was a kid was to be a Sports & talent agent, I was always interested in marketing, but just I was intrigued by the challenge of marketing a person instead of a product... Also had the Entertainment dreams but we've all had that so it doesnt count lol

SO what was your first job, and career dreams at a young age?

I don't really count mowing lawns as my first job since it was more for pocket coin than anything.

First 'real' job was at 14 in a local pharmacy store (stocking shelves and doin' deliveries). Basically it was a crappola job...but it DID give me access to a nearly unlimited supply of adult mags. :1orglaugh (anyone remember Gallery magazine?)

I was a cashier at a deli when I was 14. We didn't have scanners so all the cashiers had to memorize the prices of produce daily. After a bit of time there, I had many customers that would only go to my line because I hardly ever made mistakes. It was funny to show up the other bitchy cashiers since I was the youngest person there.

Publicity and local journals delivery when I was 11 or so. Paid 4-5$ per hour. Not really legal. Still got 20-30$ for 1 day of work. Was nice back then.

First Hustle: Getting refund for Beer bottles at 8 or so. Not a lot of money either but was good enough at the time. The young adult/teens usually partied in the woods and left 24's and more of bottle there. So we just picked em up and cashed in. I remember looking in dumpsters/trash cans as well.
