Sterling casino cruise line saved my ex husband's life today!

My ex husband was out fishing in the ocean today alone. He went to do something with his rods and slipped and fell out of the boat. He didn't have the kill switch so he ended up treading water for 4 or 5 hours until someone from Sterling casino cruise line spotted him, they thought he was waving something red(it was his face from being in the sun for that long) they lowered a lifeboat and gave him oxygen and made sure he was ok. They took great care of him! He's lucky to be alive! Something like this really makes you think! I don't think I've ever been so happy to see him!

If you ever go on a casino cruise, use Sterling!!!!

I just called him again to see if he needed anything and he has already gotten a bunch of calls from reporters wanting to interview him. It will be on the news but he only did one interview just to thank the cruise line for saving his life. His boat is still missing but he doesn't care, he's just happy to be alive! :thumbsup

I imagine if he drops the name of the casino liner during a TV interview he'll get some really nice comps down the line ;)

PS: Glad he's ok Lori!

:1orglaugh No! They even gave him dry clothes from the gift shop to put on. Good thing since he lost everything he had on his boat! Still no word on his boat yet.

Thanks Charles! Me too! He's my best friend, I'd be lost without him! :thumbsup

I had something happen like that a 2 months ago but lucky for me i made it back to the boat and we got picked up by a coast guard helicopter. Shit happened so fast really didn't have time to think about things.

But damn you ex treading water for 4 or 5 hours wow holy shit talk about a mind fucking. Swimming wondering if your time is up, will any one find you or if something is going to grab you and pull you under. :Oh crap

Glad to hear he is ok. I'm sure thats one sunburn he dose not mind having :)

I just saw that on my local 11:00 pm news.

Glad to see he was ok. He's very lucky a crew member from the cruise line spotted him. Gotta love a story with a happy ending.

So true! This is one of those things you hear about happening to other people! Very scary when it's someone you know and are very close to. I'm really happy he's ok! I think I'm driving him nuts calling him to make sure he's ok and see if he needs anything. :1orglaugh

:1orglaugh My brother in law said that too! He had no money though, since everything he had was on his boat. Still no word on his boat

That's amazing! He should give some money to charity or something to even out that karma balance :)
