Something you're supposed to like, but don't?
 

Do you ever have something that you almost feel compelled to like even though you don't?
Maybe a movie, a book or a band?

As a movie geek, I know I'm supposed to love Citizen Kane and Gone With The Wind, yet, I really don't care for either movie...

As a metal/hard rock music lover, I'm supposed to love Pink Floyd, but I just don't...I like a few of their songs, but I'm just not a big fan...

I almost got my Horror Movie Geek card taken away when I posted on a movie geek message board that I don't really care for the movie "Psycho" (I admire the impact it had on horror movies, but I feel it's mediocre)

Anyone else go through this?

Food.

I generally don't like to eat, even though it's a must. Especially dinner; I'm never in the mood for dinner. Granted, every once in a while I'll crave something to mow down, but mostly, I find it a waste of time.

Alot of foods and movies. Mushrooms for example. I love good food. They are considered 'gourmet' and used in alot of cooking, I cant stand the taste of them.

I love movies too but I can't stand any and all musicals, whether they are new or classics.

Mayonnaise and mustard come to mind. Vile, disgusting concoctions designed to trigger the gag and vomit reflex.
