Its because "average" webmasters are tired of getting fucked over by malware, spyware, trojans, torrent sites, other content theives and a million other things we have to fight to keep making sales in todays backstabbing market.

yeah, the time I started noticing it more was about the time that I stopped doing it myself...I took some time and grew up a little realized that negativity and hate just don't fit well into my life anymore

If people did not steal from this industry, work with CP and content theft, and use other shady business practices it would probably calm down a bit.

Lars, it isn't any different than before. You feel it more because you have positioned yourself right in the middle of the strongest streams. You have earned it, enjoy it.

As an affiliate these days, it is getting harder and harder to compete with various illegal and questionable methods for making money. It is only made worse by programs that turn their nose up at the issues, and don't support their overall affiliates but rather cave in and allow certain "bros" to break all the rules without issue and without putting a stop to it.

It is hard to sell a valuable product when everyone else is giving it away in order to sell something else.

Perhaps because content theft is at an all time high and content producers are tired of it?

Perhaps because the leaders in the industry, leaders like AVN, will even fuck us over if given the opportunity?

Perhaps because the industry is in a non-stop battle for survival, from 2257 to .XXX and anything in-between?

Oh, I dunno. Lots of reasons I suppose. But whatever the reason, you can rest assured that you and your company have a small role in it. The day the largest companies started selling out the industry, it began to go downhill.

If we are forced to constantly look over our shoulders, forced to assume we are being cheated and lied to from everyone we know in the industry, you will get a serious negative backlash from a lot of people. :2 cents:

Well when the leaders of the industry use theft as a method of making money, you can be sure this industry is gonna get worse before it gets better.

I make far more with mainstream and far less BS.

Programs that used to convert 1:32 are now more like 1:1000 and the "cost" per hit is higher.
