Judge rules pants not worth $54 million!

A judge ruled Monday in favor of a dry cleaner that was sued for $54 million over a missing pair of pants.

Good! I am glad! fucking disgusting lawsuit! not only that but the judge made the plaintiff Roy Pearson to pay the court costs of the defendants!:thumbsup

WTF, that person is tripping... surprised it wasn't someone from California.

Roald 06-25-2007 09:52 AM

I was wondering about that one yesterday but good to see this outcome!!

candyflip 06-25-2007 09:53 AM

The best part of that story is that the guy suing the cleaners was an actual fucking judge. :1orglaugh

KrisKross 06-25-2007 09:53 AM

I read about this case a few months ago. Such a load of bullshit. I'm glad he has to pay for the cleaner's court costs.

Dennis69 06-25-2007 09:58 AM

Good... Stupid fucking judge to even think about sueing that much for a pair of pants, glad he has to pay the court fees!

tranza 06-25-2007 10:08 AM

It's nice to see that not every judge is crazy in the US....

Andiz 06-25-2007 10:09 AM

I'm glad to see that there is justice after all :)

BAKO 06-25-2007 10:10 AM

he was smoking some good shit

Jimmy Rock 06-25-2007 10:11 AM

The Judge should be charged for the defendants court costs, and charged a fine for a blatant mis use of the legal system!

You said it man! that kind of shit is fucking up our legal system! I hope outcomes like this will make people think twice!

Just Mike 06-25-2007 11:15 AM

thank GOD! I cant belive how stupid this guy (An attorney and Judge) was for trying to sue on this basis.

Devin 06-25-2007 11:24 AM

Still not a total victory until they force him to pay the
defendants attorneys fees which are probably high
as hell. Still can't believe this dude is a judge.

Should be disbarred. Clearly, he's stupid!

Rodent 06-25-2007 11:46 AM

The defendants should sue him for some random shit like loss of business because of this.

And he should be fired from his job as a judge. What really gets me, is even after the drycleaners found the pants and tried to give them back with some monetary compensation, the judge refused.

He'd rather try to ruin two people's lives. What a fucking tool

D 06-25-2007 11:58 AM

Nice. Glad to hear it turned out that way! :thumbsup

same thing should be applied for patent companies like Acacia

MikeB 06-25-2007 12:50 PM

This is great news. I hope the dry cleaners recover attorney fees from the plantiff.

jonesonyou 06-25-2007 12:54 PM

For the trouble the man could have baught a new pair of pants.

WhiplashDug 06-25-2007 12:54 PM

THE BEST EXAMPLE OF OUR NEED FOR TORTE REFORM!

The loosing party should pay for all court costs of both sides. That would end this type of crap ass lawsuit.
