Henry to Barcelona

I've enjoyed Henry, but alas, the time has come to change for both player and team. I like the move for Henry personally as he has accomplished everything a player in the EPL can accomplish. What player would not want to go play in front of the world's greatest midfielder? Good on Barca, Henry and Arsenal. Time to move on and I don't see the doom that some people project for Arsenal. RVP and Adebayour are an adequate EPL striking pair and both will only get better with Henry gone. Bring in a vet or two to help stiffen the youngsters and Arsenal will be fine.....and no one can sulk better than Henry...it's a french thing.

SOccer fans, Discuss...

A good move for all parties is my POV. I think Arsenal would do well to get a target man in the more traditional mould though.

Barcelona is going to be the team to beat in the next season on pretty much every championship they take part.

Definitely a good move for Arsenal. They need to make sure Wenger stays and all will be good.

Barca is stacked, They'll take every title they compete for, but you never know.. Henry might not fit into the chemistry.. we'll have to see.

I don?t agree with you.

Last year everyone said the same thing about Chelsea after they signed Sheva, Balack, Shaun Wright Phillips, Cole, Kalou and Jon Obi Mikel. That was the team to beat. And we know how that went?

This year Barcelona looks strong but one of Ronaldinho or Eto?o will leave. Either that or they will have to put Messi on the bench and that want happen. Plus they will have Bojan Krkic in the first team and I am sure they want to give him some playing time.

Milan hasn?t started their transfer campaign yet and same goes for Real Madrid, Inter, Juventus and some other big teams. And ManU has already added some quality players like Nani and Anderson.

well, he'd better do one helluva job, cause he's got some big shoes to fill.

No one less than Johan Cruyff wore number 14 for barca in the early days.

He got a huge welcome today in Barcelona, more people came out to see him at the stadium then they did for Ronaldhino when he was signed.

the more "stars" the more trouble in my opinion...

I think it's a great move.. it's not like Arsenal can't live without him, they played the majority of last season with him on the bench due to his injuries.

Henry is amazingly talented, and as I already follow Barca it's gonna be awesome being able to see him play more.

Oh, and speaking of Arsenal, I hope Kroenke's effort to buy up the Gunners goes through.. could mean some valuable talent/tactic swapping between them and the Rapids.
