IE fix for tabbed nav menu?
Hiya, sorry to ask this here but I've done a bit of searching and can't figure out why Windows IE is screwing up my top nav menu.
The relevant CSS Code:
ul.topnav { Code:
<div> display: block; float:left; instead of display:inline; But I don't know any other way to do it? Anyone got a hack for IE? works in FF and safari OSX, and FF Windows. Thanks |
oh yeah oops, the URL = http://www.ratemenude.info

thinks I sorted it, managed to find a work around to use "display:inline;" along with padding top and bottom instead of "display:block;" with a fixed height :)
IE seems to like that better |
Btw, your rating box on the right is in IE fucked up, think a margin problem.
Maybe a usefull tip: some times it shows right in explorer but not in firefox. You than can solve problems with a _ in front of the css line, which will be read by explorer but not by firefox e.g. margin-left: 10px; _margin-left: 15px; This will result in 15px for explorer and 10 px for firefox :) |
Great!! Solved on your own!!

ie still isnt cool
