I've owned about 30 bikes in my lifetime, everything from cruisers to sport tourers, to crotch rockets and dirt bikes.

This was me at the track last year on my '04 VFR800
http://www.sincityxriders.com/forums..._2_1_73428.jpg
http://www.sincityxriders.com/forums..._2_1_46946.jpg

I traded that bike for an '06 FZ1 which I later destroyed in a high speed sweeper on a deserted Utah hiway. Got to spend a week in ICU for that stupid shit.

Ths is what is currently in my garage:

2003 VTX1300R - I painted it flat black and put on lots of chrome
http://www.sincityxriders.com/forums..._2_1_42963.jpg

2007 Honda VFR800 25th Anniversary Edition, lots of mods since this photo
http://www.sincityxriders.com/forums...y_2_1_5331.jpg

2006 Honda TRX400EX - Have two of these, one red & one black. This is obviously my red one.
http://www.mrpheer.com/pics/5-3-07/800px/5.jpg

This is my wife's 2006 Suzuki GSXR600 - Yes thats a shocker sticker behind the seat :thumbsup
http://www.sincityxriders.com/forums...2_1_113011.jpg

I also have a '99 VFR800 that is currently being painted, so no pics of it yet. I bought it wrecked on Ebay last year and have been repairing it and making alot of upgrades. Plan on using it for my track bike.

And yeah i mainly like Hondas. They seem to have the best build quality and reliability out of any bikes that I've owned, and they arent too stupid on the price like some brands are.

horvy 07-13-2007 05:12 PM

just bought this a week ago..... http://static.flickr.com/55/149330346_9563a8291e.jpg

Casa Nova 07-13-2007 05:19 PM

Holy cow pheer thats quite the collection. I've always wanted to pick up a wrecked bike and fix it up. Would certainly learn a few things in the process and have a good time. That shocker sticker is hilarious lol

Out of all the bikes which do you enjoy the most, the crotch rockets or cruisers?

BV 07-13-2007 06:30 PM

I always had dirtbikes as a kid so I recently wanted to give SuperMoto a shot.
I'm looking at GSXR's now.

They also just put a Hyosung dealer in my town this week. These are made in Korea and they make bikes for Suzuki also. Alot cheaper but right now only up to 650cc's

This is my DRZ400SM (SuperMotard) A lot of fun. Also have a Honda Ruckus in the back there for running errands around town at 99MPG watercooled 49cc 4stroke.

I dont enjoy crotch rockets at all. The Honda VFR isnt a crotch rocket or a repli-racer, its actually a sport-touring bike. Its much much more comfortable for riding long distances plus its got plenty of power and handling for when you want to play around on it. Its been voted best street bike 11 times by Cycle World magazine. My new VFR even has anti-lock brakes, GPS, and a wireless Ipod controller. I added some hard luggage so I can pack clothes with me or whatever and take off for weekend trips. You can see it in touring configuration here.

If I'm just riding around town or not going over a couple hundred miles, I prefer to be on my cruiser. But it to can be configured for touring by adding a windshield and some saddlebags.

SV650 for the track, and DRZ400 for the dirt. I don't ride on the street anymore; way too scary.

baX 07-14-2007 07:09 AM

So far I have only drove small bikes (up to 125 cc) and few scooters but I'm planning to buy me a brand new Yamaha Fazer in the near future. I simply love naked bikes.

These are some fast bikes. We should go riding together once. Not sure if we can keep up with you guys, though.

I never said she had an '06... I do. I wasn't sure what year hers was. She just told me it's an '04, though. I tried to get her to get the newer one last year, but she said "they don't have it in yellow".

Where in the SE U.S. are you? I ride hard, Alysha doesn't. So, when she rides it's always a slow pace. When I'm by myself or with our usual group, then it's a little different. :-)

Casa Nova 07-15-2007 10:15 AM

Damn most of you have some wicked bikes! We should all have a meet one day Drive down to a show together haha.

We are in Sarasota, FL. I only ride on the back right now, that means, it's going to be at slow pace. I have an emergency brake back there, that is connected right to hubby's balls. Not sure where exactly you are located (Tampa?), but I still would like to meet you guys for some riding fun, and may be, more...

We leave Tuesday morning, staying in San Francisco for a couple days, then heading down to Monterey for the MotoGP races at Laguna Seca. If anyone is in the area, and they even remotely like bikes, then this is the place to be!!!

Good to hear there's at least one other racing fan here. Two podiums in a row for Nicky... but there's no catching Stoner or even Rossi this year.
