I totally missed the launch..

Basically in a nutshell they are now offering ads that you can set and get paid pay per signup , pay mer email , pay per lead etc..

the traditional way adsense works is you choose what "ad-block" size to put on your page and google decides what ads to put there.

using this new method you can create an ad based on a product you wish to promote

google has also increased the amount of ads you can display on your site.

You may now place 3 ad units , 3 link units , 2 search boxes and 3 of the new ref ads on any page..

we were part of the beta. Even offering $60 PPS we didnt get a single click.

Are the pay out rates more 'transparent'?

You can't do adult with adsense

yup .. each product / service you promote has its own payrate and they are fully transparent

each product has its own banner blocks, many proiducts let you use "text links" instead of "ad-blocks"

So you can simply drop a link like " GET A FREE BLOG" , and if the user submits his email you get paid..
