Why aren't adult sites using this technology?
 

Cool stuff and I could see this working nicely on a solo site. Its a sad day when the jokeman has a one-up on us adult peeps. :(

Adult sites were using flash overlays several years ago.

it does look pretty cool .. it could work on a tour.

That's not really new seen a few sites doing that (mainstream)... but alot of tours have the girls in a video talking or something. Just not overlaid like that.

Might be an asset might be a waste of time and effort.

Come on, surely you can think of a reason or two someone might not like a talking banner that automatically starts when entering an adult site. That's been done before and it didn't do anything but piss off surfers.

Don't have to be talking, could be just stripping or something. I could see this on a high end solo site tour. I dont see any adult sites with this though. You have three seconds to convince a surfer to stay put, I think this does a pretty good job in my opinion. http://www.cameohd.com

I've seen adults sites use that over 2 years ago.

In some cases it helps. In other cases it doesn't. You have to remember unsolicited sound on an index is a no no with porn so you would have to disable the sound initially. That reduces the effectiveness of it.

Yep Pornwolf 100%, no good for porn sites cause you can't put Audio with autoplay on a tour. You instantly lose alot of good customers that might of purchased but closed the window in record time incase the wifey in the other room heres it.

Sound is definitely a no-no on porn sites. Take away the sound and this doesn't have the same punch.

DieselAction had a flash overlay ad at gfy among with some other sponsors, basically it's same technology just we didn't take over the forum without webmaster's action :)

Implementation of this technology in order to improve sales is not that easy. I watched this guy talking and I totally missed all the website content, I just saw him and closed the browser.

our site is all about audio, and video, I'm interested.

There are many ways to do things in flash and be creative with marketing...but sound on adult sites is a no no....unless th user requests it...
