Drop in wysiwyg html editor...?
 
anyone know of a drop in wysiwyg html editor that i can add to a sites root folder and allow the ower to edit the html files her selfish?

nah they're not called CMS... they're wysiwyg web based html editors. cpanel uses one where the user can edit upload and create new html files.

Not sure if this helps, but something like Tiny MCE, http://tinymce.moxiecode.com/, lets a user do some HTML-type editing via an online form. Might have to build a wrapper script around it or something for your purpose.

you guys have the wrong idea he wants something where it shows up like Wordpad you can highlight and click the center button or bigger font or change text color and as you see it in the editor is how it will appear in the html version

i found this program http://www.wysiwygez.com/ looking for an opensource / free version if possible. pretty much its a drop in program and you can edit any file .html file on the site. if i can't find anything else i guess i'll get that
