Any men here being happy with not having kids at all? (and not planing them)

Ok, we all know among the 20 year old GFY'ers the attitude "I gonna make big money, party all the time and fuck the hottest babes all my life" is common...

But how about the older guys? Anyone here being 40 years old or so and being 100% happy not having a family... and not planning kids at any point of his life either?

techtony 07-31-2007 06:11 AM

30 don't want them, I am the oldest of nine. I've had my fare share of kids.

Spunky 07-31-2007 06:18 AM

I like other peoples kids, never had the desire to want kids, been close to being a father 3 times

MaDalton 07-31-2007 06:40 AM

Scott McD 07-31-2007 06:45 AM

I'm 26, and i can't see me ever wanting kids.

My 30+ year old friend wants to have kids but his wife won't do it. She saw someone give birth when she was 11 and was traumatized that much... Any ideas on how he can convince her? He's tried it all.

adopt or surrogate mother, or mistress

JadaY 07-31-2007 07:20 AM

Single, 42 and no kids. Would love kids but don't want the nagging bitch wife who could steal my kids, house and income with government help.

I keep busy, travel, have a boat etc.

Hell, I just fucked a 22 year old dancer this weekend. God damn, that was some nice pussy. And her ass was rock hard, along with her long legs all the way up to her shaved bush.

American women suck for marriage and raising kids (mostly). You sacrifice a great deal of who you are and your dreams when you marry and I refuse to have kids without a plan for their stability. That doesn't include most of the women I have met. Most of them can't even take care of themselves. Don't cook, clean...hell, I take better care of my house than most of the women under 45 I know.

So yeah, having said all that, I prefer to be child-free than have to deal with a bitch who holds my balls in her purse with daddy government making sure I comply with her every wish or she gets to fuck me over grand.

Beings I fall into the older guys catagory, I will say I have never wanted kids and still do not want them.
And I am very happy the way my life has turned out. It's not for everyone, but I do enjoy the lifestyle and the freedoms.

ContentSHOOTER 07-31-2007 07:24 AM

I do have to admit at one point I sorta wanted to have one. Now I'm glad I didn't have any. Think about bringing a child into this world:Oh crap

TommyM 07-31-2007 07:24 AM

I am only 22 - and I can say now already that I wanna have kids, my mom and dad would love to get grandchildren - and I would be more then happy to make them for them to carry on the family name... I cant see myself in 10 years without kids...

Babaganoosh 07-31-2007 08:52 AM

I'm in the same boat as JadaY but I am 10 years younger. I would love to have a couple of kids but I don't want a wife. I've gone as far as looking into surrogate mothers but realized that many of them are just as flaky as some of the content.

Randyyy 07-31-2007 08:58 AM

Reading this thread is really fucking sad. Why someone would not want to raise a family is beyond me. But I definitely want to start a family in a few years, still young though.

CaptainHowdy 07-31-2007 09:00 AM

I've seen friends of mine with kids and it's quite a ride I must say... Hopefully I'll jump into that wagon in the near future :)!

Jim_Gunn 07-31-2007 09:03 AM

I'm thirty-eight and I never wanted to have children and still don't. I have too many goals to fulfill yet. I do have a super-affectionate tabby cat for a pet that makes me happy though.

Apparently you have never had to deal with women. If you had, you would understand completely. I would personally love to raise a couple of kids but a woman seems to be a necessary part of the equation.

Libertine 07-31-2007 09:09 AM

I'm 25... definitely want to get married, have children, buy a chateau in the south of France and live happily ever after.

Actually I've been dating my gf for 2 years. It's just a matter of finding the right one.

Martin3 07-31-2007 10:10 AM

My uncle always said me and my 4 sisters were all the birth control he ever needed.

I have 2 niece's now and see where he's coming from. :1orglaugh

I had the same girlfriend for several years and ended up getting kicked in the nuts (figuratively, of course). I guess the deal with a lot of guys my age who are professed lifetime bachelors is we have been conditioned to distrust and dislike women. If you get bitten every time you try to pet a dog, eventually you will learn to not like dogs.

Ive lived with the same woman for about 6 years. I would love kids. We are a team and not some crazy shit where I let my woman control me.

You just have to step up be the man.

I want my legacy to live on. I want to have a few kids and have them get a good stable upbringing.

If not successful for your kids and family, why try to be a success at all?

Personally, if I didn't want kids I would move some other country with cheap housing and pretty beaches. Get some shitty job(that I enjoyed), then after work sit around on the tropical beach and drink beer and flirt with hot chicks all day. Rock climb, run around in the forest or just do whatever I wanted. I think that is a lot better then achiving wealth and having nothing to share it with.

Klen 07-31-2007 11:13 AM

I would like to have kids but that is something which cost a lot of moonies _)=

This is why women feel the same way ;o)

jonesonyou 07-31-2007 11:26 AM

I have one on the way.

Damian_Maxcash 07-31-2007 11:34 AM

My only regret about being gay is that I wont have kids....

Talked about it with lesbian friend of mine - use the turkey baster trick - but we never did - prob for the best - I can be a bit flakey at times :)

Thats what they all say.

After 2 years of marriage you'll be tearing your hair out.

tony286 07-31-2007 11:38 AM

Jimmy Rock 07-31-2007 11:40 AM

im 25, still do not think about kids

[ Nate ] 07-31-2007 05:35 PM

31. I don't think I want kids, but haven't made the 'for sure' decision yet.

he-fox 07-31-2007 05:47 PM

I'm 37, I was married and I didn't want to have kids. Very smart choice, we divorced after 8 years. I don't see myself with kids in the next 10 years. After that, I will grab a younger hottie and make two kiddos, just to have some fun.

Aquarius 07-31-2007 05:50 PM

I'm 27 and it is not in my short-term plans, but my mom keeps telling me 'I really want to know my grandchildren'. LOL

1st thing my mum said to when she found out I was gay - "at least I wont have any bitch of yours calling me granny, I will never be old enough for that"....

I thought then, its best not to bring a child into such a loving family......

SomeCreep 07-31-2007 06:04 PM

The internet is my child.

DaLord 07-31-2007 06:04 PM

38, same girlfriend for 10 years and we both agree that we won't want kids.

The thing that bugs the living shit out of me is when people say to us "oh you just wait, in a year or two you want a baby". Well fuck you. I don't say "well you just wait, in a year of two you're tired of your kid".

buzzy 07-31-2007 06:10 PM

trust polish to make a thread like this

Yngwie 07-31-2007 06:10 PM

I'm 33 now and have never wanted kids and I never will. My girlfriend never wants any either.

JohnV 07-31-2007 06:19 PM

I'm 35 and no kids, no wife and not planning on getting married soon or having kids...oh yea, I'm very, VERY happy with most aspects of my life at the moment....

Robatolla 07-31-2007 08:43 PM

33 and perfectly happy without kids.it's not that i hate kids or something,i just don't think it's that big of deal.tried with my ex wife a few years back but it never happened.now since i'm divorced from this person i'm very grateful i didn't knock her up.not only cuz i would have to deal with her for 18yrs.,but i didn't mess with a young persons life with a broken home.way too many people have a kid to save a marriage or some other selfish reason.people are fixated on having kids,is it really so bad to not have any?

quiet 07-31-2007 10:28 PM

34, married, and have absolutely no desire for kids. ever.

heymatty 07-31-2007 11:15 PM

It is worth it. Every time you guys think of all the shit that sucks when you have kids, try and forget it is worth it.

AsianDivaGirlsWebDude 08-01-2007 01:09 AM

I would love to have kids, but it turns out that is not possible for my wife and I. She is my best friend and lover, so that is enough for me (and my cats).

We have other couples as friends in the same situation, so we travel together on incredible vacations, spending the money we would have spent on tuition, on trips and other luxuries instead.

polish_aristocrat 08-02-2007 02:41 AM

thx for all the opinions guys

Rumbo 08-02-2007 02:59 AM

am 32 and i dont think i ever want kids but its weird reading this thread

i always assumed that having kids was the done thing - it was just natural and that it was conventional

I supposed its possible if i never have kids, i might one day regret it but i dont know. i think if i do go for kids, i will leave it as late as biologically possible :1orglaugh

but i still dont think i ever want to have kids - sitting with friends who have kids and watching them expect me to do baby talk is enough to put me off big time.

Blue Player 08-02-2007 03:09 AM

It is easier to make a million than be a good dad. You spend your life worrying if what you are doing is right. Bollocks to all the 'good father' books, you learn as you go with being a dad.

Personnally I love kids more than money, but then shit I am a millionaire several times over.

I like learning again with my kids. When my 5 year old asks me something alot of the times I dont know the answer, like how do you grow a peach tree from the stone - you dont just plant it, I like that.

Randyyy we share the same thought. Having kids is always an option, but I know a lot of men who let the woman decide whether to have one or not. And I know a lot of women who are smart, would use birth control all the time.
