Anyone use Cricket phone service?
 

I just got a bil from Verizon for $230, and I dont even use the damn thing that much.
I've been seeing signs for Cricket phone service and its unlimited calling, text, etc etc for like $45 a month.
Anyone use them?

They've invaded my city. You can't go ANYWHERE without seeing a sign or store.

That said, I don't know a single person who's signed up with they as of yet.

My girlfriend in Syracuse has used them over the years and they are perfect if you don't leave the city you live in very often. If you travel out of town often then don't bother. Even if your only 20 - 30 mins outside of the city it's useless. :2 cents:

Looked online, read 2 bad stories and 1 great story.

I also called verizon and im being charged for everything under the sun. I had a 30 minute call from within my own city and got charges $14 for it. bastards.
theres got to be better plans out there, especially when its from the city im in now

I used them a while back when I got a whopping phone bill from another company. They were good for a while but once I started going out of town more often they were useless. Definitely good for in town use and to avoid overages.

Yeah that's what I've heard.
