SHot this girl this weekend after the USA's in Las Vegas, She is a national level figure competitor. This is the first time I have shot in raw and while I think they are ok, something is off about them.

undecided for me. I hate the fake boobs on bodybuilders but have heard that for the most part the muscle development overtakes the breast tissue so much that they are often just a saggy empty bag.

Either way, I think she is pretty hot, and I am not into muscle girls.

That, and on body builders, they cant do the "under the muscle" implants. Otherwise it can cause the implants to burst if they strain their chest muscles to hard in a work out. So they end up looking really weird, and bolted on.

Hers don't look to bad though.

I can see you're working hard and what matters most is if YOU got the results you were aiming for. With that said there were two things that caught my eye right away.

In the first pic it was the wrinkled background. To work it should have been taught and wrinkle free. I've used stuff like that before and I know they get messed up while being stored and I hate using them. It's ok for a test shoot but it wouldn't fly for a finished product.

In the second pic it was the clash between the background and the models suit. I don't feel they compliment each other.

Again, if you're just testing lighting situations it's all good but if you were planning on putting something like this in your portfolio I'd take another look.
You're on the right track so keep at it and keep posting your work. I enjoy looking at it.

thanks for the input, yes I know about the background, but this was a shoot away from home so it was going to be wrinkled no matter what, my members dont care about the background, they care about the girl in the picture :)

I could shoot it with a cellphone and make them happy :)

she is not a bodybuilder, she is a figure competitor, bodybuilding comps have bodybuilders, fitness and figure events. She is an NPC figure competitor.

She looks ok I guess....

Buff girls = gross. Sucks too because she looks like she would be hot.

Gives me the heebies.. girls with muscles scare me.

The pictures are nice. The girl is about as real as a real doll. I am not a big fan of muscled girls, and she is certainly in the "cut" stage that is totally un-feminine. Her boobs are insanely horrible as well, another byproduct of being very muscled. Fake boobs rarely look that good, and on muscled girls they usually look like two scoops of ice cream and not like anything that appears normally.

Shoulders are too big, too much muscle, mega-obvious fake boobs, and just generally doesn't look very comforable with herself. If that is what a high end "figure model" is suppose to look like, then I don't want figure models, thanks.

Use Digital Photo Professional to "develop" your raw files and they'll look nearly identical to the in-camera jpegs... or use Raw Image Task to generate jpegs that are 100% identical.

You can also shoot in RAW+Jpeg mode which saves the RAW and also generates a jpeg in-camera.

Id have to be Bi curious to be attracted to this

looks like you photoshop the head...somebody's muscled body and a anohters girl head put together?
