it is not a filter. or anything like that.. it is in the way you shoot the pic..

yea.. it is an hdr.. but I don't create it in Photoshop because it suck ass doing it... I use photomatix..

also there is no painting with light.. there is one layer to just dark up the sky.. and one later to increase contrast to make it look more film like..

give me a min and I will post the un-touched images.. and the photoshop layers

Yeah, God forbid somebody tries something different in this industry. Please discontinue doing anything artistic and stick to shooting your girls in front of draped bedsheets or in cheap motel rooms. :Oh crap

It also looks like you used some 'outer glow' in a few of these. Wouldn't you have to mask the girl out to do this? That seems like it would take much more than 2-3 minutes per picture.
