Prosecute the providers of internet porn
It is generally accepted that both parties to a criminal transaction are prosecuted. If a man is observed buying cocaine in the street we expect him to be prosecuted, but would be astonished if the complicity of the drug dealer was ignored.
Most would assume that the drug dealer was at least equally, if not more, deserving of prosecution. Why do we not apply the same logic to internet crimes? Every month we hear of someone being prosecuted for downloading child pornography, but why is no action taken against the companies that knowingly supply this sort of material to our homes? Both parties are guilty and should be prosecuted. The internet companies will howl in protest. They will claim that filtering the internet is impossible, but this is untrue. Filtering out 100% of illegal material is impossible, but cutting out much of the child porn that is available, through search engines, to every family computer is certainly possible, but it is not in the financial interests of the internet companies to carr View the full story |
once again, pornography has been mixed with C P...

The writer acts as if when you buy a computer you MUST be hooked up to the entire internet and therefore are being assaulted or something lol.
Plus like pornguy said, the title says "internet porn" and the only thing in the article is CP, which is the furthest thing from "internet porn" as you can get. If the article was "Prosecute the iTunes Store" and the article was about people downloading illegal MP3's, having NOTHING to do with Apple, what kind of uproar would Apple make? Fuck hell of a lot I bet. Where is the representative for the adult industry anyway who can raise hell about misleading shit like this? Also about Viraldiscussion. I think when you link to third party stories, you should open them in a new window. Just IMHO. |

You are right. It's one of those things that I say over and over again to my programmers. (golden rule) if you link to a page on another site, open new window, if you link to a page on our site (same url) then open in the same window. Applies about 99% of the time. I will find the links you are talking about and get it fixed. Thanks for pointing it out. |
Cool guys, it's a nice site so when I go there to click a link (twice today), you guys should not lose me so fast, hehe.

Oh geez... two clicks to find out that it is nothing more than a letter to the editor at a belfast newspaper, a place where about half the population is agressivelyt (and almost militantly) catholic. Remember, the place that doesn't allow abortions because god doesn't like it.
Letter to the editors are like blog posts from nobodies. They mean little. |

Thanks. We are really just working out the bugs right now, I will be adding the blog section in the next month or so. Also, when it officially kicks off next month I am shooting on having 100+ new articles posted every day. Once the traffic starts flowing i think more and more poeple will post to it news about their company, or their blog posts if they have their own blog, etc.. as a way to get free traffic to their site. |
