Learning spanish in a month
Any of you ever did that? That would be on my own, without immersion.
any tips? |
I learned / am still learning spanish after almost living in Puerto Rico for a year and speaking it constantly. You can't learn it in a month. You can learn enough to get by but you should surround yourself with Spanish. I took spanish in high school and college, but didn't truly learn it until i moved to a spanish speaking country.

I lived in Costa Rica for a combined 3 years and I still don't speak fluent Spanish. 1 month seems like it will be pretty difficult, especially without immersion.
|
It depends what you mean by "learn spanish." Will you be fluent in a month? No way. But you can learn basic phrases well enough to travel in a spanish speaking country.
|
It's hard to learn Spanish in just a month.. You should go to Spain to be fluent:D
|
Heh, I did just build a website for a sponsor with a "Learn Spanish in 3 months"-product.
Anyway, I think it would be very hard to learn a new language within a month. |
Oye loco, que pasas?

Spanish. I'm very good at learning languages....It can be done in a month at least enough to get you by in a more than decent way......but if you stop after that month 2 months later you've lost it again. :2 cents: |
I know a guy who did, but he was a genius and studying in a very prestigious school.
The average Joe didn't learn English in thirty years, so Spanish in one month........... |
Not yet,,,,but I suppose it's possible It's depends on your ability

GO to block buster and rent the movie Sleeping Dictionary.
|
The only words you can learn in Spanish in one month are muchacha, chica, etc. :)
|
Immersion is key
|
How much you want to know? I'm sure in a month you can accomplish something near a "spanish for tourists" kinda knowledge...
