Myspace log in problems?

THis is what I got.

Server Error in '/' Application.

Runtime Error

Description: An application error occurred on the server. The current custom error settings for this application prevent the details of the application error from being viewed remotely (for security reasons). It could, however, be viewed by browsers running on the local server machine.

Details: To enable the details of this specific error message to be viewable on remote machines, please create a <customErrors> tag within a "web.config" configuration file located in the root directory of the current web application. This <customErrors> tag should then have its "mode" attribute set to "Off".

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="Off"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

Notes: The current error page you are seeing can be replaced by a custom error page by modifying the "defaultRedirect" attribute of the application's <customErrors> configuration tag to point to a custom error page URL.

<!-- Web.Config Configuration File -->

<configuration>
<system.web>
<customErrors mode="RemoteOnly" defaultRedirect="mycustompage.htm"/>
</system.web>
</configuration>

not as much anymore that is for sure. I use to log in everyday a couple times a day. Now every other day unless I am waiting for a message kinda like I am now.

The issue is Mac related or maybe Safari related (I only use Safari on the mac so I do not have FF to try). I can log on with a PC but not on a Mac.

Never anything but login and general problems with myspace... at least once a day... I've moved over to facebook with a lot of other people

Why do people still ask about myspace problems?

SOME PART OF MYSPACE IS ALWAYS MALFUNCTIONING AT ANY GIVEN MINUTE.

NEVER in internet history has a site been so poorly programmed and yet so popular. Yet somehow a multi-billion dollar company gets away with it by pretending some douche named Tom runs it from his bedroom.

I'm still holding strong in the Anti-Myspace world. My gf is on the shit all the time, but I still refuse to start a page.

I can't log in otherwise I would. Apparently it is a mac issue. Or at least Safari. I will try with Firefox.

I'm getting the same error on Safari as well.

OTerror 08-21-2007 09:04 PM

I found out how to fix this error it comes from myspace not safari

empty your safari cache and reset safari and myspace will work like a charm again.

Cory W 08-21-2007 09:05 PM

Belinda, swap to Firefox and you will be fine.

Belinda 08-21-2007 09:10 PM

OTerror was right, worked like a charm. Thanks :)
