Munich: Beerfest
 

I guess after Webmaster Access in Amsterdam is the Oktoberfest in Munich. I have friends in the north part of Germany, and Munich is in the south. So, I am in a quandary.

Is Munich really "happening" enough that I should make the time to go there, or is it just sitting around drinking beer?

I am definitely going to visit my friends, but I don't know if I should do that instead of Munich or in addition to Munich.

If you have done the Oktoberfest Gathering what were your impressions? Is it a "must do" or just a bunch of drunken Germans and tourists?

Oh, I had not realized it was an MM event. I only saw mention of you once, and no banners. If I had I would not have even considered attending.

I am not a "beat drums in the desert" kind of guy.

Munich and Bayern both are cool.....apart from the beer drinking there's
enough other reasons you should go.....:2 cents:
