Anyone running Vista on their Mac yet?

I run XP on bootcamp, and it runs faster than on a higher spec'd PC. Just wondering if anyone has Vista running on their Mac yet? Not that there would be much point of that since it's a lesser clone of OS X, but just curious how it runs.

I got Vista to run a few low memory programs on my Mac OS X, run it through parrallels desktop - its decent but not amazing.

I was going to buy a second hand system software backup copy of XP, like the ones you get with new comps, but they wont work on a mac... so I just bought Vista since I thought I would have to upgrade sooner or later

Why the fuck would anyone install Vista on a Mac? Thats like marrying the two worst operating systems ever made.

No, I hate Macs. And Windows isn't much better. Vista was a huge let down.

I got vista for my mac for a few reasons...
first a few good programs I use which aren't very special but save me a ton of time for maintenence, marketing and submissions
secondly, its good for testing web design projects

I have run both XP and Vista on My Imac and I would say Vista actually runs better. Actually I run Vista as my primary OS now on my Imac as I cannot handle the font smoothing in OS X. It actually hurts my eyes.

Nope but I've heard good things.

Bring on the hordes of Mactards to tell us Windowze, or Window$ or whatever other shitty derogatory term you can develop from it is worse than the l33t Mac OS X, which made the text on GFY so fucking blurred beyond belief on my iBook that I actually gave the thing away.

Go ahead, tell me how much of a retard I am for not changing the font smoothing settings (even though I did, to every conceivable setting I could find) - but I thought OS X was developed for retards? Or did I just get that impression from the constant "You're trying to do SOMETHING! FUCK ME DRY! YOU'D BETTER ENTER YOUR PASSWORD BOYO, OTHERWISE I WON'T LET YOU open this text file THAT COULD NUKE THE ENTIRE FUCKING WORLD!"?

P.S. I tried to like Macs and OS X, really I did.
