$2,000 surgery on my little dogs leg, PICS

my poor lil yorky. Her kneecap joint has been popping out of the socket for last year, tried arthrimaxx for last 9 months but had to opt for the surgery since no improvement. BUT she will make a full recovery and loses the lamp shade on friday lol... I should have studied Veterinary sciences in college instead.... $$$$

Damn..looks nasty..hope she heals up fast

Babaganoosh 08-25-2007 07:49 PM

That sucks. Glad you decided to spend the money rather than get rid of the dog. A lot of people wouldn't have paid that kind of money "just for a dog." I'll be signing up for profitx using your refcode to help you get some of that money back.

poor doggie hope she gets better fast.

Its good money, but its a very hard area of study and its really hard to get into a good vet program. I have a friend going to Iowa State University's Vet Program right now. Its one of the best in the nation. He says its a lot of work because unlike a human doctor, you need to know the anatomy of tons of different animals.

Ask your scammer brother Jonas for the money. He should have some of that $100k+ left over.

no it was not. They just had to drill the channel in the bone to be deeper so that the kneecap would stop popping out. it is called "Patella Luxation Repair". I have been told it is more common in the smaller toy breeds and even more common in yorkys.
