If I wanted to make my own paysite.. how long does it take to get a biller?
Anyone know? And is it difficult?
|
don't do it - find another hobby
|
Depends on the billing company and you.
For some it takes a few hours for others a few months. No one answer to this and something you should know if you're thinking about opening a paysite. |
A few hours?
If you have all of your corporate documenation (ein, bank account + company check, articles of incorporation, etc) then you should be able to setup the account with no problems in a couple of days if you & your rep are quick w/ the paperwork. The thing is you'll also need to pay a visa reg fee & wait for compliance to review your site + make any requested changes before they activate your product codes. That could take an additonal week or two. |
But since you're in Canada, ur probably shit out of luck :)

yea, a few hours, is kind of far out Paul.
Not from scratch. Not even if you bribed them Im sure. you must build your site before getting billing. Then have it approved by most importantly Visa. CCbill if youre going to use them. CCBill can take a couple hours or even a phone call. Visa take 7-21 days. Usually 2 weeks... 3 lately. you must have everything on your site basicly ready to go. looking right and working properly. Then comes your credit and banking history. Depends on what niche you want to get into sometimes. Many determining factors. |
I don't know, have you figured out how to use your FAX MACHINE yet? hahaha

I don't know of the initial setup with ccbill eu but every addtional website added only take 1-2 days for (visa)approval.

ccbill is easy and fast!
