Buenos Aires, Argentina or Santiago Chile?
 

Considering a trip south in October, if anyone has any recommendations in either city I am all ears.

Buenos Aires is the bomb. A lot of sightseeing to be done...

Checkout Ecuador. Guayaquil and the Galapagos and Quito. Very safe in ecuador and a lot to see, and you will get more for the buck. beautiful weather in October too....

i lived in Santiago, Chile for 2 years and have also visited a couple cities in Argentina such as Mendoza and Buenos Aires. Played rugby for a travel team and got to travel quite a bit through South America. both countries are sick places to live

Skip them both and hit Rio.

Buenos Aires it's a good choice

Buenos Aires, landslide. Been more than a few times.

Don't even hesitate.

I've been to both and I can say that Santiago is WAY better than Buenos Aires. There's way more things to do in Santiago (and cities near it) than in Buenos Aires. Not to mention that the view of Cordillera dos Andes from anywhere in the city is just amazing.

Oh, I'll be in Chile from September 27 until October 07 btw! It's going to be my second trip there.

true true - went to all 3 places mentioned above last spring
Galapagos was sick, unlike any place I have ever been. Mind blowing place is all I can say, highly recommend it

if you are looking for hot women , good party´s and all that then buenos aires is your undisputable destiny!! I go there a couple of times a year and its always a blast!
