I'm a very successful casino affiliate looking to branch into porn! Before I create any porn related websites I want to be clear on what is legal and what is not.
I notice that some porn websites have intro pages that make you verify your birth date or click on a link that says "Yes I'm 18"... is this needed? What about the sentence at the bottom of the page indicating where the "porn records" are kept? I'm not creating any porn myself, I would simply be an affiliate getting hits from Google, displaying a few free imagines, and then passing the traffic on to various adult programs. Lastly - are all types of porn legal? Obviously child porn is not - but isn't anal and inter-racial porn illegal is some hickish states? What about 3-somes and gay porn, etc.

Anyone who provides an INFORMATIVE answer feel free to post an sub-affiliate link or pimp your program at the bottom of your post, Im looking for trustworthy & well converting programs!!!

Ditch the US based host & get one in any European country, otherwise you'll need to adhere to 2257

Don't be shocked if your lawyer says that regardless of where you are hosted or based --when you do business with US citizens, you have to comply with US law.

So basically, you want a european/asian (but not australian) webhost. You also want all domains registered on your corp and NOT on your own name, as well as any and all affiliate accounts etc.

Fire any lawyer that says such enormities. This is not only untrue, but so ignorant as to preclude even the faintest possibility of a law degree.

In reality if your not in the usa and doing mainstream porn. I highly doubt they will go thru all that expense to check someones records.

American persons, be they citizens or corporations, doing business in America, with other American persons, be it online or not, are held to abide American laws.

Cyprus corporations doing business with anyone are held to abide Cyprus law. European webhosts, doing business with anyone, are held to abide European law.

Hard as it may be to stomach, especially if you've never left your homeland, but. The real world really doesn't give a shit about the US of A.
