Probably. I was just watching part of the Ramones documentary this morning, and Dee dee talks about Phil pulling a gun while they were recording, and basically threatening anyone who wanted to leave. :1orglaugh

He's known for messing around with loaded guns. I doubt he meant to kill her, but decades of that shit it was bound to happen eventually.
