It doesn't get a lot of action, but today I get an email that there is a new comment.

The comment was promoting camazon, the affiliate is cmz115897

Well, considering that youtube doesn't allow adult, porn spambots have no business on youtube to begin with. Chances are good that many of they videos they spam will be focused towards minors.

If they don't allow adult videos, why are some videos labeled as 18 and up only?

If people don't want spam on their comments, an easy fix is to approve all comments.

Personally I just wouldn't post videos of my kids... but that's just me.

Yes, that is the answer. Do not use youtube for its intended use because porn spammers are not intelligent enough to make it in the biz legit.

These types of threads are a daily occurence on GFY, so it's not like it doesn't happen.

I've seen random youtube comment spam in the oddest places too. And while yes, you can block comments and all that and it's a good practice.. in this case it would only have prevented him from being CAUGHT, lol.

If spamming comment forms and chatrooms and all of that jazz is against the TOS, then it's against the TOS.
