Anyone work in Paris/Europe know the SEO salary is?
Looking to relocate, just got an email from a French company, but asking what my salary range is.
Over here in the stats with over a year experience + 4-year degree, I'm asking around 42k-48k USD. Should I ask around the same in Euros? Anyone in Europe looking for an employee;?) |
why don't you work on your own if you're good in SEO?
just curious |
what the polish said - if you are good you should be making way more than what you are asking by working for yourself
|
USD 42K are about EUR 30K, so EUR 2500 per month. I don't even want to imagine living on EUR 2500 in Paris, and that would be before tax and social costs I guess.

I still do, but I was working for someone for the longest time, put my own projects on hold, but now the company just flopped, starting up my own projects again, but I need some consistant income
plus, I need a sponsorship to work in Europe. If there's any companies in UK, France, Switzerland, Germany, and Austria that is looking for an employee (even for part time) that can help me with a Sponsorship, hit me up. Proficient in CSS/xhtml, little php, photoshop, been in adult for almost 4 years, more than a year of SEO/SEM. Have ran an adult program before (that's not the company that flopped) |

a halfway decent apartment in paris or london is 2000 euro a month - and no, i don't talk about 100 sqm or more - i talk about 1 bedroom, kitchen, bathroom, living room

Maybe I should stay put for another year and get some of my projects going before I move. Probably just end up going under the HSMP program in UK next year, but I'm gonna answer that email from that employer with 44k-48k euro range, sounds alright, right? |

bullshit .... |
If your actual salary is 42k-48k $ you'll need to get min 42k-48k euros. For example: in Paris 1 gal of fuel cost about 3,5-4 euros and there will be hard to find a dinner in chinese restaurant for $15

Yah, I noticed that when I was there, I don't think I've ever spent less than 20 euros for a dinner in Italy, France, Germany, and Switzerland. For a sit down dinner anyway. |
Paris is terribly expensive and full of jungle bunnys waiting for the right moment.. would consider twice moving there.
