Image sizes - what's good these days?
 

For the most part, we're still editing our pics for 1024x768 (landscape) and 720x960 (portrait) - but with a lot of people using widescreen laptops and monitors these days, I'm wondering if these dimensions are becoming somewhat archaic and obsolete.

(my Toshiba laptop's set for 1280x800 currently)
