Is there some trick to registering a new nameserver there I cant find where to do it and when I called tech support the guy had no idea what i was talking about

I own the domain at webair and need to register the nameserver with them normally you put in the nameserver and an IP addy and its done

I know someone here has had to have done this

I hope.....

TIA

I assume you're saying that you're hosting with WebAir, and they're going to be hosting the DNS for you?

If you are on a shared server, it will likely be the IPs given to you for that machine. If you are dedicated, it will be the IPs for that machine.

If neither is the case, contact Gerard. He'll help you get your account figured out.

no what I mean is I have domains registered there and I need to change the nameserver to ns1.mydomain.com

but they dont see that as a valid nameserver (it is its et up at my hosting company)

usually this requires you register the domain (if you own it and I do and if the registrar has it registered to you , they do) by adding the bameserver and its ip addy

have you designated your domain as a NS with your registrar?
