Anyone using SEOHosting.com?
http://www.seohosting.com/
5 -C Classes * 5 Class C IPs * 20 GB of Disk Space * 200 GB of Bandwidth * Host UNLIMITED Domains! * Order Now! $35 a month seems pretty reasonable, just wondering how their rep is? |
Just checked their site - very good offer. They also offer "No Contract" with all their services, which saves you from having to cash out a lot up front for service you will be recieving in the future. Sometimes bullshit takes few months to surface. Definitley a good offer though, i'd be interested to learn if anyone has any experience with them.

maybe I will sign up and see how it goes, and monitor it with an uptime script for a while |
The only drawback I can sense is that it's all probably just a shared hosting. I don't know how many CPU and memory resources would your sites get on a shared server...

Hmmmm, funny discovery - if you click on "Live Chat" button, it opens a pop up window with HostGator links in it. Looks like this is Hostgators service... I'm not sure whether this is a good thing or a bad thing (I've seen a few people recommend Hostgator on these boards, though) :D

I wouldn't host a paysite on a shared server, but for free sites and feeder blogs this is quite perfect |

in all honesty though, like someone mentioned above, it will most likely be a shared server, which is excellent for free sites and blogs and shit |
It is owned by hostgator. See the bottom of the page "©2007 SEO Hosting (HostGator.com LLC)"

How the fuck they can get somuch c classes?I mean i though each hosting provider have limited amount of ip adresses and c classes. But in any case it will be good for seo purposes.
|
how much do they pay for spamming their host? for 50 bucks I'll start a thread too

i have numerous servers on hostgator and SEOHost. SEOHost is a spinnoff and subsidiary of HostGator. I've been with them for about 1 year and have nothing bad to say about there services. I actually think it is alot better than most of the adult web host providers I have seen on the adult message boards. SEOHosting plans are on shared servers but there servers actually are some state of the art equipment. One of my servers has 4 cpu's on it, another just has two, and another 1 cpu, I think it's a luck of the draw what type of server you get when they create your account. SEOHost also just opened up a few months ago so I think they are still having some growing pains and getting down their business processes. I had a few requests and problems with response times due to some confusion at first, but not anymore.

Haven't used seohosting.com but we do have an account with Hostgator and also promote them. Our personal experience has been 100% positive.

I forgot to mention that the issues I had with them occurred when SEOHosting was still in beta and only offering their service to current HostGator customers. I'm pretty sure they provide the same excellent service and great response times as HostGator now. I know there have been posts bad mouthing Host Gator in the past on GFY, and I always wondered why because I have had nothing but positive experiences with them. The server admins/support personnel or some of the most knowledgable ones I have spoken to out of alot of web hosts. |
