Who agrees that Bruce Campbell is THE man?

I mean Let's just put a few things out on the table...He was the star of Evil Dead 1 and 2...not to mention Army of Darkness. without him those films would have never reached thier place amung the great cult classics that they are today. And well all can surely remember when Bruce himself in Mcael's Navy the film? True Genious:winkwink:

I like Bruce Campbell. I never understood why he didn't hit it bigger in the "mainstream". He really is a good actor, especially as sarcastic heroes.

I thought "Jack of All Trades" kicked ass, but it was dragged down by that Cleopatra 2525 shit.

Yeah i agree, he just put out a book, "If Chins Could Kill: Confessions of a B movie actor" It's definitly awesome, i'd just starting on the chapters where he and scott spiegel and mike ditzz first started making films. his childhood was the crazy part

Catch his new movie on the Sci Fi Channel on Saturday night called "Terminal Invasion". Read the interview with him & Chase Masterson at http://www.scifi.com/sfw/current/interview.html

remember the Army Of Darkness PS2 game? Remember the commercial where the guy wanted the chainsaw surgically attached to his arm - couldn't lift it up so that replaced it with the hedge trimmer. Then he argues with Bruce (his neighbor) and Cambell chases him down the street? "Stay away from meeeee!"

LOL I liked that commercial

Quite simply: Bruce Campbell = God

"Good, bad, I'm the guy with the gun"

Dude

I can't believe someone started this topic. I just started reading his book. A friend gave it to me. I had no idea that him and his friends produced Evil Dead. I thought the first movie sucked, but now I know the story behind it It Rocks

Anyone remember Brisco county Jr.

yup, Sam Raimi and company created some amazing shit for such a miniscule budget...they created a classic for what was the catering budget on Titanic....

I have an intense appreciateion for these ultra low budget movies...you have to watch them with a different set of eyes than a typical Hollywood production...

Hard to believe the man who created a true horror classic really only made one horror film (The Evil Dead, the rest were more comedy/slapstick horror) with Darkman was more comic book style horror/sci-fi) and Spider-Man being pure comic book fodder and iof course Hercules, Xena, Cleoppatra 2525, Jack Of All Trades being fantasy...

even though Darkman is one of my all time favorite movies, I would loved to have seen Bruce Campbell with the role that went to Liam Neesom instead of just playing the fake shemp at the end....

his newest flick "Bubba Ho tep" has gotten great reviews from the online critics (I give them a teeny tiny bit more credibility than "mainstream" critics)...Bruce Campbell as Elvis is truly inspired casting....

I'm glad all you guys are down with the King... I've been a fan of this guy since i saw Army opf Darkness the first time. I didn't know about the other evil deads or that they were all interwoven untill years after i saw AOD. Needless to i have never met a person who hasn't thought highly of campbell.

I can describe Bruce Campbell in one word:

Groovy!
