From what I have read and seen, it looks like this is going to be the game to have. I don't buy into hype for games but this one looks really impressive. All the review sites are praising it too. I have been watching the new movies of it and it looks ridiculous. I am more of a Ghost Recon/Rainbow 6 type guy, but I can't pass this game up.

Yeah me too...I am a product of Ghost Recon 2, Ghost Recon Summit Strike, and GRAW, didnt really like GRAW 2 that much. Thought it should have been GRAW 1.5 seeing as how not much changed from GRAW.

halo3 is gonna be great but according to the guys at GameStop by me, they did beta for Call of Duty4....its going to blow it away....i cant wait for both.....

I got a case wholesale. Passed them out to all my friends and a few local customers this morning.

Ya Gamestop told me if I diddnt preorder that I wouldnt get it. Ya fucking right. I worked at bestbuy when halo2 came out and they had plenty of extra copies. personally I think im gona hit up the local 7-11. I believe they are doing a midnight launch but no one knows about it.

Spent a few hours playing with some buddies earlier. One bought the last used system I had and the other went and picked up a new one. I guess that's what this game is supposed to do...sell systems.

Microsoft has already said they wont ban users who play it before the official launch. It was only MS emplyees that got the ban from Live for playing it early.

Costco will be selling Halo3 in their stores in a bundle pack. So if you need a 360 or another one. Check there.

Well, I forgot to pre-order mine, so at about 11:40pm, I hit up Wal-Mart in my small town and I was amazed to see how many people were there. There was over 150 people there, most of them were college students of course, he he.

I never really played Halo 1 or 2 because I hate first person shooters with a controller, I'd rather have my trusty ole mouse and keyboard on my computer, but I figure that this time around, I'm gonna try to force myself to get good at it.

I played a couple of online games and pretty much got my ass handed to me, ha ha ha.

I have been playing guitar hero for the last 3 days since we got it. Man that Free Bird is a hard song to play on meduim.

My copy is coming via FedEx, should be here tomorrow. I bought the 360 just for this game. :thumbsup

Now that's one business I wish I was part of - the gaming industry. While music, porn, and software industries are suffering, gaming is booming because the game can't be played without one of those xbox thingies.

Mine better be here tomorrow, since I paid for it last week, and it is supposed to show up with a free copy of the Silver Surfer game, which I am sure is probably shit. I am going to sell that one on Ebay to recoup my losses.

Halo online is friggen awesome. Just wrapped up a 6 hour session. My eyes are burning :)

Well I played for 5 hours last night, I really believe that it will be the game of the year, so many weapons, they tripled the amount of weapons to use, So they had to give you 3 times as many targets to shoot at, LOL. Grahics are really good too

It def will be game of the year. Online is unlike anything I have ever seen. All the weapons, new vehicles, game types, customization, and i didn experience lag once. Very very, impressive. Oh, and the graphics are unreal. The water is amazing.
