Okay, here is the deal:

Black label ads is the "porn" part of Adbrite. Originally, a deal was struck with AVN to run AVN ads as the "exclusive" adult ads provider. However, Phillip "Pud" Kaplan that runs Adbrite doesn't seem to be very good at keeping to his word. When AVNads started to decline to allow certain types of sites in their adult ad program, Adbrite started to add them in.

Adbrite's entire pay is to get big enough to go public or be bought out by a deep pocket third party. They almost had a buyer, apparently, but rumors have it that the deal fell through because too large an amount of the advertising and such in the program were adult.

At that point, I am pretty sure that AVN people realized that Adbrite had been mowing their lawn somewhat seriously, and AVNads has worked to move onto their own platform, getting away from Adbrite.

Black Label ads is adbrite's reply to the deal.

I think they have started to shave/filter clicks recently. My earnings have dropped 50% since a couple of weeks ago with no traffic changes.
