Pretty nice. I bought myself one of these: http://www.komplett.no/img/p/400/318906.jpg

I got USB on my DVD-player so I loaded the harddrive up with XVid movies and TV-shows. It's great when you're bored and what do watch something good. Just switch the DVD on and choose movie. :winkwink:

gecko 09-29-2007 06:37 AM

egbiz 09-29-2007 07:56 AM

Compdoctor 09-29-2007 04:04 PM

Juicy D. Links 10-02-2007 07:57 PM

update so far so good.....

tehHinjew 10-02-2007 08:05 PM

get me one you jew

i need one for the office

Sosa 10-02-2007 08:36 PM

I still need to pick one up and set it up to auto backup my laptop hard drive.

Zorgman 10-02-2007 09:06 PM

I got a 500gig version.. works perfectly. Only 1 think i noticed, when it's not being used it powers down so when you go to use it it has to power back up. There might be a settings to stop this, just not sure. Only takes 10 seconds to power back up, but very annoying sometimes.
Just for the record: $239 AUD for the 500gig version.

Juicy, thats a kids toy. Look at the my book from western digital. 2 terabytes for 600 or so dollars. the fastest port on it is firewire 800 though. Which is still very fast.
:)
duke

Klen 10-05-2007 06:06 AM

Thurbs 10-05-2007 06:08 AM

lol .. this LaCie 2 terabyte we got in is rediculous, heavier than my laptop and all the peripherals.

Klen 10-05-2007 06:13 AM

Hmm i just notice internal disk 1 TB for only 2500 HRK.It is probaly 2x cheaper in usa but hell it worth to buy.

Bigger drives means more devastation when (not IF) they fail

Remember to back up regularly, buy 2 of them instead of 1.

jscott 10-05-2007 07:17 AM

That's what everyone says, then they forget about it, and eventually the drive fails. :Oh crap

Your m/b may even support RAID already. Do you have more than one eSATA port?
