QuickBuck Zango Pop response...
1) GFY users account for about 1% of our joins and traffic. I don't really care if you pull sigs or links. Have a field day in the zoo jumping up and down screaming "down with quickbuck"... You guys did a great job with AFF.. boy you taught them a big lesson... i think I saw lars begging for paypal donations in another thread recently (catch the sarcasm cause i'm laying it on thick).
2) You can absolutely link to join pages with quickbuck.. just add "/join" to the end of the link code.. some of the join pages go straight into our processor page.. some go to graphical join pages. Depend's on the site. 3) We have over 250 sites... only about half of which are listed.. if you ask us we can enable other sites for you. It's how we keep sites from getting oversaturated. We add about a site a week on average.. unannounced. 4) It absolutely is *not* us buying the traffic. If we get a subpoena for the information then we'll be happy to provide it... and I think you'd all be suprised who the affiliate really *is*.. but we don't turn over that kind of information without a court order... and no, i don't mean the court of gfy. 5) When the screen shot was posted, it did not include a nats code that would allow us to actually look up the account. The first time I saw it I didn't even know what it was because it said "hotbar". 6) There are probably other affiliates out there buying traffic to our sites via zango... if it gets brought to our attention we'll ban the affiliate. People.. get real, this faux-drama got posted as an anonymously hosted screenshot at a free image hosting service on a weekend with no affiliate code. We ended up finding the offending affiliate by digging up the member id through the database. If we had some history of bidding on zango I guess I'd assume the worst too... but I do not believe anybody has ever claimed we buy Zango traffic before. Finallly... for those of you who like to spout assumptions as though they are facts....QuickBuck does not generate our own traffic and never has. 100% of our traffic is affiliate driven, we don't mail, don't bid on ppc, don't buy gallery spots etc..etc.. etc.. If i were so inclined I could buy traffic to twisty's to pop over the hun... is it Shap's fault if I do that? How would he know if nobody reported it? Don't believe us? I guess thats your choice... but we're paying $50 on free trials til 2008 and a hell of a lot of people are cleaning up. Don't be a sheep and let the "revshare rangers" convince you that everybody smarter than them is bad. |

hahahaha, this fucking place is so entertaining.

not exclusive... but modern releases from really good studios.
|
So the affiliate you banned, he's making Quickbuck look bad too, making you guys come across as scammers, can you guys take legal action against him?

Hahaha so true. About 20 posts a day and the result is theyre doing better than ever. |
Do you have other celeb join pages that's not published in the webmaster area I could link to?

Quick Buck, if GFY is 1% of your business, why don't you just leave?

No, the only people who get rich are the programs that accept traffic from "rogue affiliates" and then terminate them only when it is revealed in public.
Anyone want to take bets on another "rogue affiliates" coming up in the next 24 hours? |

I think you meant to say recycled among the whole "paysite network" :winkwink: |
Hey Quick Buck, how about you address the issues of sites like this:
http://www.anjalikara.org/ Packed full of content stolen from other programs and cropped to lose the logos, and used entirely to promote your program? Any ideas? |
Alex.. we ban no less than 20 affiliates a week. If you write me a 8 figure check you can take a look at our stats and verify it.
Til then you're just a nice guy who doesnt run an affiliate program, and as such knows very little about what goes into it. Pay people $50 per signup, offer free trials, promise fast payouts and you are certain to be the first place people looking for a "quickbuck" turn to. |

You mean like this? www.tastytara.org |
Here is the thing I find interesting. As soon as this was posted, Someone with Zango on their PC said that the "person" using zango stopped poping up over ccbill / epoch. Quickbuck can teminate the "affiliates" account but they can't stop making the zango end pop up happen. The person who has the zango account would have to log in and do that. So it just so happened that the person stopped his zango campaign and then Quickbuck came in and posted the affiliate was banned. If this is the case then the affiliate wouldn't stop using zango. You deposit money into your account there pay up front. He would just keep targeting ccbill and epoch and use another affiliate. Seems strange both happened at the same time and the zango use is no longer happening.

Yup, two clicks to quick buck. Nice stuff. Now I know why he only gets 1% of his traffic from GFY, because the rest appears to be coming from that stuff. |

I don't ban affiliates based on heresay.... and no... 1000 posts of heresay does not make it any more real. |
On a side note, I was just researching some keywords and Zango is buying top spots on practically every keyword I looked up.

Must be another "rogue affiliate". |

I don't know if they are going to keep promoting that way or not. Not my business. I would guess they are just busy finding another sponsor. |

Alex, go jump off a bridge.
I would attack you but lonely fat middle aged men making $30k a year and hanging out with 18 year old kids on porno message boards don't have much take away by attacking them. We're reasonable business people.. if somebody is doing something that is somehow infringing on your rights and you think we're involved then feel free to send an email to webmaster@ or vip@ quickbuck.com and we will happily and professionally handle it. GFY is not our support department. |

How about instead of personal attacks you address issues? I have an idea for your company, a new tagline: "Want to make a Quick Buck? Steal it from someone else!" |
|
:Oh crap :Oh crap :Oh crap
|
I'm happy to address the issues. Just not here on GFY because this is gfy, not the quickbuck support department. If ray has an issue, i'm sure he can contact me on icq or email like a big boy.

Quickbuck giving explanations to the peanut gallery won't stop em dude.
Go enjoy the weekend. The Retards just been on a shit storm attacking anything they can lately. The explaining just gives them little hardons for the attention. Ya wont miss any traffic no matter what they say or you say. These guys dont matter. |

How long was he an affiliate did he just signup and start doing this ? So no warning who the guy is so the next company wont be screwed? |

Isn't it a contradiction to have a banner flying here, and get your promos stickied, and have threads where you give away money to people who post so they'll stay on the front page, and then say that we're useless and you could care less if we send you traffic? :helpme |

I would love to believe they are innocent but 9 times out of 10 other programs who have pulled the same shit were eventually proven to be the ones behind it. |

gotta love seeing them call themselves reasonable business people. the same company that had a guy throw a chair out of a window at a show and spit in someones face. the same company that peddled so much spyware that it brought heat from the government. or the same reasonable business people that sold out their affiliates to microsoft to avoid a lawsuit.
you work with these guys, you get what you deserve |
