HALO 3 - anyone finish it yet in SOLO mode?
 

I think it is taking forever, maybe I just suck at it, but damn - it just keeps on going and going.

I am on some planet with snow on it right now - getting annoying with all the monsters...

yea it sucks only online is good . Worst part is you cant even choose the game mode when you play online. Who the hell wants to play juggernaut and ninja ball and crap.....

I still havent finished the solo game, was getting pretty bored with it.. Played online all night last night though and was having a blast.

Ask me 4 months after it's released on PC. :)

Yeah I have... and finished it in 2player mode. Was easier that way!

Damn, well - I am playing in normal solo mode and to me it seems like it is taking forever and I am getting quite good.

Notice the bugs in the game as well? Like cars getting stuck when you are not the driver etc.?

I have finished it on all levels already whats the problem? At the end it doesn't really finish but hey, its really just to teach you how to play so when you get online you don't get slaughtered

Haven't got it yet, I like Gears of War. Not really a fan of 1st person.

I am looking forward to the Orange Box. I enjoy games that have a puzzle aspect; the FPS games can get boring.

yeppers - finished and found all the gold and silver skulls - I have sick armour now for online - it's samarai armour - I'm sooo happy about that - haha

I'd rent it first. I bought and don't really like it. Just can't get into first person shooters without a keyboard and mouse.

I finished it.. it was good!! if anyone wants to play online.. "CUPP CAKE" is my tag name. why? because rednecks and homophobes hate loosing to chicks and gay guys..lol The is nothing better than hearing some frustrated "hating the world redneck" throw the controller at the tv..lol.. makes gaming fun!!!

How do you all manage to play 1st person shooters on consoles ? I tried and its just the most painful gaming experience you can endure.

Loved halo 1, but until its on pc and doesn't require vista I will pass.

I'm getting the impression that I'm missing the best part of this game since I'm not playing online.

The solo game was underwhelming at best. Gears of War was far better.

I'm still on Halo 1. Shiiiiiiiiit.

beat it on normal in 9 hours, then went straight into live, love that shit, I'm not great at it but I have won a few matches, that's the best!

i finished halo3 on Heroic mode... don't try and kill everything, learn to RUN! thats the key, just make it to the next checkpoint. A lot of areas are impossible to clear out so learn to shoot, duck, throw up a shield and run. (shields are the best hit the X button and deploy a shield or what ever item is there)

thats the last stage you're allied with the alien let him do 70% of the work just move up and duck behind things. you have a few more parts after this but you're getting close the ending is intense.

If there are no taurens and orcs in the game I don't like it.

Just got it in the mail, can't wait to try it out! Been some while since I gamed but one can never be old enough :) It gets killer reviews her in NL

I dare say that is IMPOSSIBLE unless all he did was run and not shoot anything. Impossible!

That said, I realize that I shot too much and should have run more in certain places making it take a tad longer time.

Am I the only person who was completely annoyed by the "Find cortana" mission?

Also, the very last part was weak. I felt like I was playing super mario and I had to make the perfect jumps to complete the section.

I think once COD4 and the Mass Effect come out, I don't think I'll be playing much halo.
