After Amsterdam many ventured off to Munich for Oktoberfest. I decided to visit some old friends in the other end of Germany and do a little sightseeing.

That is a Southern Germany thing . . . I was in the north.

I will be there next week.... 3 days in Amsterdam, then driving to Heidelberg Germany and staying 2 weeks.

I almost blew it there. I was walking on the outside by the tracks in the back and had no idea how outrageous it looked from the front.

When I made it around to the front I wandered inside the station. Pretty much expecting it to look like the inside of the Amsterdam station, I was pleasantly surprised.

Although I did feel the Burger King stickers kind of took away from the aesthetic beauty.

My friends pretty much built that from scratch, basically starting with nothing more than a frame.

It is as clean underneath as it is above.
