What If They Switched Google Off?
 

what if Page/Brin suddenly went mad and decided to just switch google off. If they didnt have have ongoing contracts and responsibilities to advertisers etc it would just be a terrible business decision but wouldnt it be entirely upto them as its their company?

How likely is it that they would be arrested just purely because of the huge reliance placed upon that site to get elsewhere?

I am not stoned enough nor do I expect to be in order to even ponder this question let alone an answer that can surpass WTF?

Who cares really it's just a big search engine... a good one, with lots of cool Lab stuff... but really... they'd have to deal with lawsuits, is all.

i don't they would do that. they will lost millions of surfers and money of course!! we all need google. =)

I heard they are totally planning on doing that. I buy high ranked google pages for cheap-- sell them now before they are worthless!
