Well, I live in Romania and me and my girlfriend go to the market to get tonights dinner (stuck on fresh veggies and meats lately, I go to the store every day). So I whip up some of my banging-ass mashed potatoes and buttered corn, and she cooks the meat. She put a lot of preparation into it and we sit down to eat.

It was the best meat I ate in a while I was like what is this pork or beef as it was an unfamiliar flavor, but very good. Its "foal" WTFFFFFFF. I mean I ate some crazy shit in Thailand but I never thought I would be eating fucking infant horses.

Oh well, I'm full on horse and mashed potatoes.....

It's okay. I'm going to China for chinese new year, so who knows what the fuck I will eat when I am there. Just smile and keep going, understanding that the horse was dead already by the time you got to eating it.

Horse meat is OK if it's really foal (the younger the better) and well cooked. I ate camel stakes several times and I had no problem camel shitting :)

they eat it here as well and I know some italian saucege is meat of horse and donkey, its like steak but tougher and sweeter, not that bad but certainly not my fav

They sell it in the bigger supermarkets here (Spain) and in the main central market, never tried it though.

kroket is the deepfried roll thats crunchy on the outside, it has a sauce with meat inside. Ive been to plants where they produce them many times, some use beef, lot use horse and chicken.

The meat they use isnt bad its just something you cant eat normally cause you cant seperate it from the bone. The meat they use is the leftover whats on the bones, they have a special machine that scrapes it off. Imagine a ton of bones gets you enough meat to produce a snack with the name meat on it. So leftovers.

Oh and the time they use organs liver kidney n all is over here, thats not allowed anymore, other countries still use that for snacks for sure.
