Blogging Question: One-way hardlinks
 

OK, what's the general concensus regarding this and the way SE's regard them. Say I have a blog with 500 people hard linking to me, but im only recipping like 5-10... What do the spiders think about that?

build the backlinks slowly over a period of time and make sure the blogs that link back to you are in the same niche and you should see good results.

spiders don't really care, but you'll be liked by the SE's. i'm not sure what your trying to ask - if it's good or bad? any one way link back to your site is good.

that's what I wanted to know.. was it a good or bad thing.. i've heard things like too many fully reciprocated links are a bad thing, wasnt sure about unrecipped links to me.. a newb question, but a valid question nonetheless :thumbsup

As long as the new links were gradual they would probably love you, but all at once, and suspicions will rise.
