60 Grams of Fat For Breakfast.
Who says Americans don't know how to eat? Everything you need for the day rolled up into one burrito. I guess it might help if peeps weren't ordering 2 or 3 of these things in one sitting, eh?
----------- "ST. LOUIS, Missouri (AP) -- The people who brought you the Monster Thickburger and the 1,100-calorie salad are at it again -- this time for breakfast. Hardee's on Monday rolled out its new Country Breakfast Burrito -- two egg omelets filled with bacon, sausage, diced ham, cheddar cheese, hash browns and sausage gravy, all wrapped inside a flour tortilla. The burrito contains 920 calories and 60 grams of fat. Brad Haley, marketing chief for the St. Louis-based fast-food chain, said the burrito offers the sort of big breakfast item normally found in sit-down restaurants with an added advantage. "It makes this big country breakfast portable," he said." ... http://www.cnn.com/2007/HEALTH/diet.....ap/index.html http://i.l.cnn.net/cnn/2007/HEALTH/d...burrito.ap.jpg "We don't try to hide what these are," a Hardee's spokesman said of the 920-calorie breakfast burrito. |
looking at that makes me sick
|
I just heard about this in the radio. I love breakfast....especially a Southern breakfast, but that is wrong on so many levels.
|
Hardee's equals Carls Jr on west coast right?
Honestly I could use a 1,000 calorie breakfast, though I do not think that looks tasty enough for me and the fat level is ew. |
How fast would you end up in the bathroom after eating that thing. jebus
|
I don't want to die young, so I will pass.
|
That's gross...I am so glad I don't eat pork nor egg

A Grapefruit and a banana is enough for me
|

I haven't been to a Hardee's in over 10 years. |
it's impossible to get any good breaktfast in the US - according to what i'm used to. and that thing is one of many proofs
|
I saw another thread on GFY asking why Americans are so fat, well I believe we found an answer to that question, lol.
|

That shit looks so dam good. I don't think I've ever seen a Hardees in Michigan though. |

I am only allowed to have 40grams all day and as I am mostly veggie these days and don't use oils to cook I barely ever get over 25. I think I would cease up eating that.

that thing looks great.
you can't get a good breakfast in America? you gotta be kidding me - US has the best chains for sit down breakfasts - Waffle House,Bob Evans, IHOP, Perkins, Denny's - even McDonald's has good breakfasts. no doubt the availability of all that does make for a big number of fat people. i just need a bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats. |
Different countries have different ideas of what makes a breakfast. In a lot of mainland europe it is more about meats and cheeses and fruit (and sometimes fish) then cereals and fried products.
Personally, if I wanted to have a blow out full fat breakfast the British fry up is about as good as it would get. |
Heart attack waiting to happen.

If you want a great breakfast go to the Cracker Barrel. |
what the hell is in a 1,100 calorie salad? Sausage gravy as dressing?
|
Would that even taste good? Talk about overkill.
