a question to the SMART peeps in LA
where the fuck do the birds go during the santa ana winds??? havn't seen one fucking bird for days???
|
Birds - especially the small songbirds I see around my place all the time - don't like heavier winds, so I assume most have continued their annual migration South while some are still holed up North, along the shore, waiting for the winds to die down.
Birds, generally, have a very dull sense of smell, but I'm guessing that the fires are also doing nothing to keep them around. In a word: Mexico. :thumbsup |
No wind here, so I guess the beach.
I know when it gets nasty at the beach they like to congregate at the big park down the street. |
here I am

there are still none around here by my place in studio city. didn't see any ravens in palmdale today when I was out there. usually the damn things are every where. so you think they split instead of hiding out in a ditch or what ever? when I was over the hill earlier today I didn't see any more birds than usual. less even to be honest about it. I was over the grapevine goofing around in kern county.

Animals leaving an area is usually a sign of trouble coming...

There are no smart people in LA.
If they were smart they would have left a long long time ago. Shortly before the houses in the slums reached the $500k mark. |

but with out LA peeps shooting pussy, you would have to collect beer cans for cheap wine to drink :( |
I don't know about LA, but in winter thousands and thousands of birds from Russia migrate to South Asian countries.
So I guess birds of LA also migrate to somewhere .. may be Mexico. Btw no, I am not Russian. :winkwink: |
