Text Ads vs. Banners for paysite advetising?
 

Which do you guys generally feel is more cost effective. It's seems to me text links are better priced per click for the most part.

Text ad written by a professional marketer, also mention price in the description if you are buying PPC traffic. If you are buying monthly link, make it more appealing to get higher CTR.

Definitly text ads are working much better than banners. Also as Vick wrote, mentioning a price in ad text will get less clicks but better ROI.

Standard banner sizes (like the 468 or 480 size) are pretty much ignored these days, placeholders on a page. The proof is in visiting a site like CNN or similar high end heavily managed site, you won't find many of those on the page.

It seems these days the best ads are ones that don't look like ads at all.
