Ok I have some 560 galleries that need descriptions made.

Who is good at this ? Any recommendations ?

What is the usual industry price for good descriptions ? By the hour, by galleries, One fix price ?

My GF does them for .15 cents per description, avg. 10 words each.

10cent each should be possible to find.

takes 30 second per gallery
so 20 cent per minute
= $12 per hour

trust me, most webmasters here doesn't earn that per hour.
