Odd question about 2257.
 

Why does the government oppose a non illegal act of sex on video between consenting adults, why cover up tities, censor asses and why does mainstream and adult entertainment have to be controlled by what can and can not be done in the entertainment biz by our own fucking government?

It is truly none of thier business.

I mean I could see why religeons might want to take up issue with the whole situation to regulate porn and fight porn cases and fight it within the courts but why of all institutions is our own government fighting a Freedom of Expression? Sex and sexuality of all things being a government issue actually is quite intrusive to any concept of freedom.

I mean the dumbest questions perhaps have the dumbest answer's but why does our own government have to be the ones that want to fight it, it's our own tax dollars working against the right to privacy, right to view and right to create adult oriented media.

Frankly the whole situation ought not be of any concern to the government whats so ever...

Just a bunch of pussy ass bitches making pussy ass laws, to make more pussy ass problems...

I guess thats the most logical answer.

Former Canuck prime minister Pierre Trudeau once famously said:

"The government has no business in the bedrooms of the nation."

Although I hated Trudeau for other reasons - in this case he was absolutely spot-on.

Religion has a way of warping views on these issues. Government isn't immune to it, sadly. In fact, one might argue that Religion is the biggest lobbyist in Washington. It's big business.

I completely agree with you. The fact that something like this is even an issue in this day and age is downright silly.

There is supposed to be a separation between church and state, however I think that such only applies in writing and really does not work in reality.
