So what are your throughts on The Secret?
 

I decided to watch it again.... I am as yet undecided on the "facts" of this movie. And while I don't think you need to believe what is in the movie, I think it's at least worth knowing about. Regardless of whether or not you put The Secret into practice, or believe it works... it's a powerful message and good to at least have an open mind enough to see what it's about.

Are there people on GFY that believe in The Secret and put it into practice? Can you share some experiences or thoughts?

That can be almost as powerful..... for power posting.

They must of made Millions of dollars selling the books, dvd's and seminars.

Kudos to them as they found a great way to enter and exploit peoples mind/believes and make a big buck out of it ;-)

With that said, I watched to movie online and I think it was very well done.

It was a great way for them to make a killing. It's a great tool for selling illusions. It's pretty hypnotizing which is the best way to move the cash from your pocket to theirs. Even though it's purely an enterprise geared towards nothing more but profit for creators, it still can help uplift your spirit and possibly make you more cheerful. Don't count on it to turn your life around and rid you off real trouble you may be going through.

As I said, I can't see myself buying into it or believing this one great "Secret" of theirs.
But your post makes me wonder then.... what will turn your life around? What will rid you of real trouble you may be going through?

If you think such is real to you then you find ways to make is true, but again if you think it will not help you out then that too is true.

Since there is nothing to loose thinking good intentions and acting on them; there seems to be the effect of drawing things closer towards oneself that is being prized.

Since it is very common to have thoughts that are counter productive... it would be accurate to say that actions and thoughts of the same would be displayed by those next to you, as to mirror ones own point of view.

Perhaps its just that easy or perhaps before you can believe something you need to buy it first...
