I want to buy a host server there but i dont know what version of php theyr' currently on.

Install the Server Spy add-on for firefox and you can find that info out.

It tells me that one of my servers is running Apache 2.0.53 and PHP 4.3.10 for example

My dedicated box runs PHP 4.4.7. I'm sure you can have it updated to the latest 5.x release if you want.

Mine are all 5.x had them all upgraded along with mysql and so on. All you have to do is contact support and they will upgrade it for you.

On virt server I have no clue what they run. I'd guess a 4.x
