Looking for a tool that can sharpen image batches

I use GIMP so if theres a plugin I can use that would be great!

Also if anyone knows where to find a batch program, that would be great as well.

photoshop starts to eat RAM if you do tens of thousands of photos at a time, i find that picasa does just as well for quality and can handle larger batchs.
