The sea is angry my friends. Quick, someone toss a virgin overboard to satisfy the gods.

sltr 11-05-2007 02:08 PM

paul allen's boat would cruised right through that, launched a couple helos for a tour of the cyclone, gone for a quick submarine jaunt on the bottom and back up in time for tea & strumpets on the foredeck.

I highly doubt you can actually do anything in that situation.... Turn the rudder? These ships are made to go in straight lines on long trips. Not make hairpin maneuvers in rough seas to keep from capsizing.

Holy crap, there were a few close calls there. Why didn't the captain try to turn the ship so that its noise (or tail) was pointing into the direction of the wind?

My in-laws are going on a cruise next month, this is definitely something I will NOT be showing my wife. :helpme
