I have had it for a long ass time and I can say from someone that actually owns it (and doesn't troll gfy all day) that it is well worth it

Honestly I own it and I dont believe it is worth the money. I am using it to run one of my blog networks but it has a lot of shortcomings which it should not have considering the price tag.

can you be more detailed? I have had it and have used it for ages and it has done right by me 10 fold

and with the latest updates that include the linkspinner and feedspinner it makes it fucking amazing!

I think its worth money, made already some blogs and dont need to update them and earn some money without work. Thats a great thing.

It's not worth it, trust me. It lacks many very important features. Fortunatly, there are good and cheaper alternatives.

I can recommend Blogsautomater.
I got both, autoblogger pro and blogsautomater and BA is superior in all means. The interface is maybe not so funky but it got tons of features ABPSA doesn't have like to randomize blog entrys and it's MUCH easier to specify rewrite rules!

And it's cheaper.

How much do they both cost?

Autobloggerpro 300$ and Blogsautomater 177$ as far as I remember.

i have abp standalone and i dig it for sure. i'd love to know what the differences are between ABP and blogautomater that would make you go to blog automator.

I'd post a ref link to autoblogger pro but they canceled their affiliate program without notifying their affiliates ( =effectively stealing traffic)</rant>.

An email was sent out through the system (I got one so I assumed it sent ok) to the affiliates letting them know that we were going to stop selling abp via affiliates due to the large amount of charge backs coming from them.

I also said in the same email that we would likely open it again once we locked some stuff down.

That was months ago. Why didn't you contact me directly to ask about it? I'm always available on ICQ.

Hey Chio, have you implemented already a possibility to syndicate RSS feeds with embedded FLV videos like those produced by our TheSponsorFeeds plugin? I know that many ABP users were need such a feature badly.

What do you use on the blogs side to pick up feeds? FeedWordPress?

Autoblogger Pro is highly overpriced. There's almost nothing it can do that a free wordpress plugin (like for example feedwordpress) can't do.

The only two options that autoblogger offers is to post to blogger (which by the way could be easily done by email) and to download the images in the feed and host them from your site.
All feed providers allow hotlinking of their images in the feed, so the latter is no arguement to buy ABPSA at all.

I was disappointed when I bought ABPSA, but it gets the job done. With trial and error & lots of headaches, once you figure it out how to use it without messing the things up, you can work with it.

why buy it when ari (designed for wordpress) have done all the hard work for you. You may need to sit with it for a few days, as some php knowledge is needed, but I reckon the time you are spending now procrastinating could be better spent reading the article i gave the link to above.

there you go, all of them give some kind of headache, even if bought. Take a look, a 5 minute wp upload and the insertion of the ari script after adding in your values, and you are there.:thumbsup

I never heard of that script before. Just downloaded it, and now gonna to study it and make a CyberSEO-ready version of it.

roly, I found the updates on their site. But feedspinner it's not working properly yet :(

Ari, feed wordpress are nothing but feed importer plugins... AB and BA go well past these weak plugins.

can't see them anywhere on their site, for some reason my login doesn't work for members area any more, i'll contact them?

No, it doesn't download images but I've asked kaktusan about this feature and he said, that he'd be working on it and that there are some additional features already in the works,

Autoblogger pro sucks.. don't ever buy that shit..

it only makes money to the owners.. just another scam.. but automatic blogs won't take you anywhere..
